What a 2,400-device rollout actually looks like
A walkthrough of how a recent rollout moved through receiving, configuration, kitting, and dispatch — by the day.
Day 1: 2,400 devices arrive on three pallets. Receiving counts, scans, and reconciles to the PO. Variances go to a hold lane with a named owner.
Days 2-4: Configuration bench provisions devices against the customer's gold image. MDM enrollment runs in batches of 50. QA samples 10% per batch with a documented checklist.
Days 5-7: Kitting builds destination-specific bundles — device, SIM, accessory pack, site-printed label, custom carton. Outbound dispatch by region with carrier pickup windows.
